Conversation with a three-year-old who watches SuperWhy

If you haven’t seen this new show on PBS kids, it’s really cute. All about solving mysteries by spelling words.

Rowen climbed into my lap, and spotted my keyboard. She said, in the classic sing-song: “A, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k..” and then she spotted something. She pointed at the keyboard and said,

“Hey! A mystery!”

I followed her finger down, and saw what she was pointing at. I said, “That’s the question mark.”

“Yes! A mystery!”

Cute & Smart! I love when my little ones make a genius move like that, makes me so proud. More importantly, that electronic babysitter is teacher her something! Mine is bi-lingual thanks to Dora ;).

I simply love the way Rowen's brain works and I love that you share it with us. Such a nice little 'smile' in the middle of my work day (shhhh don't tell I am checking this from work) lol

Have a great Thanksgiving!

My Amanda is also a fan of Super Why. I got in trouble the other day because I called Princess Presto "Princess Pretzel". She rolled her eyes at me with hand on hip, and said, "You need to watch Super Why so you can learn too."

Yes, ma'am!

Super Why has become a new favourite at our house too. My two year old looks at me often when he doesn't like something, shrugs his shoulders and says "What can I do? I have a problem to solve!". He is also pointing out "super letters" wherever we go. I am enjoying it right now but ask me again in 6 months. :)

My son LOVES super why!! He can't get enough of it and they sit so very still when they watch it and want no interruptions, LOL. They are 2 & 3 years old. I am liking the catchy theme music (for now, lol)
