100 in 10, day 5.

I made it home at about 1:30 this morning. Whew! Kinda flopped in bed, spent the day feeling that kind of show hangover that is hard to describe. Wanting to just crawl in the covers. So if you haven’t heard from me and you sent me an email in the past few days, that’s why..

But on to happier topics! :D

Let’s get to 50 on our list today (plus MANY more in the comments, thank you!).

41. Use the entire alphabet, or at least many letters, as a design element, accent, background, etc.

42. Scrap your favorite pair of shoes, and the story behind them.

43. What do you do to relax? Do you have sure-fire ways of de-stressing? Scrap about your Mission: Relaxation

44. Incorporate one or more diamond shapes on your layout. These can be huge, or small, many or one.

45. Are you a Dickens geek? Do you write Star Wars fanfic? Do you religiously follow speedskating? Scrap about your favorite “Nerdy little secret.” ;) Shhh….

46. Use your Pen tool (if you’re using CS/CS2/CS3) or perhaps a template (like the one in this free kit) to create text that goes around in a circle.

47. Ink your finger and make a clear print - scan it in and use it as a design element.

48. Use stamps, rub-ons, or (in a digi page) the Photoshop custom shape tools to draw arrows or other directional motifs on your page.

49.  Scrap a page about your typical day. This one has been done as an idea, I know! But I haven’t done it, and I need to. :) (6:30, kids wake me up… 7:00, cereal…)

50.  Create a layout that is a tribute to an influential person in your life. Here’s one of mine:

Alright, I’m going to try to finish Harry Potter #6 tonight (decided last night to re-read 6 in prep for 7 - why didn’t I think of this earlier??) so I can start 7 tomorrow. Think comfy couch, popcorn, soda, and Slughorn. :D

Yay, I get to be first! :)

Scrap a layout about a personal joke you have either with yourself or with someone close to you. One of my faves (that I can't wait to do) is regarding this van I see everyday on my way to work. It is for a local karate store/dojo/location? Anyway, it's all painted up with their logo and phone number plastered all over this van. The first time I saw it, I immediately pictured it as a delivery van, because it's in a strip mall with mostly food places. That made me picture someone in a precarious situation, calling from their cell phone, needing some ninjas delivered in a back alley asap. Along comes the delivery van, ninjas jump out, kick some booty, caller gives a nice tip, ninjas jump back in the van and off they go.

So, I have an active imagination. But everyday I pass that van, I giggle picturing a bunch of ninjas jumping out. :) I'm sure we all have little personal funnies like this.

Do a page which lists foods or food combos you eat that others may think are *WEIRD* like this:

I haven't had time to read all of your posts or reader comments, so I apologize in advance if these repeat anybody's. (I've been busy reading HP Deathly Hallows - finished last night)
1. Use felt (die cut your own title or an accent or use pre-made accents)
2. Doodle on your layout (use pens, watercolors, crayons, paint, sewing, do it digi or tradi, whatever)

Stamp/doodle on a ribbon

I have decided to re-read all the Harry Potters - the day I got #7! I know, crazy - take me forever to get to it!

Scrap your favorite meme...like, "Seven random facts about me" or "4 places I've lived." There are a few of them floating around out there...choose your favorite and go for it!

ooh, love the nerdy secret idea. I think that will have to be a mini book for my family. Nerdy secret number 1: we analyze football statistics and run our own fantasy football league. And actually enjoy it!

day 5: I love this idea, and I keep writing down ideas for it but I haven't acted on it yet---create a gratitude scrapbook of the moments of your life that you are most grateful for. For mine, I'm not thinking of the big moments, like when my babies were born or my wedding day, but those smaller moments that are actually easier to remember in detail (because they are smaller) that make me smile and feel blessed----like a meteor shower I watched with my best friend back in 94, complete unexpected by us so we pulled over on the road and lay in the grass watching it.

A lot of those moments won't have photos so that is part of the challenge---create the illustration, google images, or make journaling the focus to capture those memories.

Wonderful layout... I loved the list that you gave on CK for company for your book.
It is so neat to find all the designers in one place!
Well done
