Heading Out, Sneakie Peeks, and (what else?) New Shoes!

I’m leaving for my final trip of the year tomorrow morning. Heading to Connecticut and CPR, then for a couple of days in New York city with Candice! Yeah! :D I’ll be back in town next Tuesday - this is a long trip for me and required much forethought in the choosing of shoes.

But this week, I’m feeling so good.

Sneakie Peek

I feel SO good, in fact, that I wanted to give you a sneakie peek of what’s coming in the Big Announcement on Friday:

That’s all there is for now! Hehe. But at least you know which week to set aside in your schedule, right? And now we can let the debate rage about what exactly all the other stuff is in this picture. Can you guess it? Shall I give a prize to the first 3 people who DO guess it? Yes. I will!

Okay, here are a couple more hints on the brand new class:

  • This class is for ALL skill levels - even non-scrappers!
  • But (and this will be veddy veddy interesting) it’s perfect even if you’re a seasoned digital scrapbooker
  • This class is a perfect opportunity, if you haven’t taken a class at JessicaSprague.com, to come check the place out
  • This class includes printable goodness
Oh, and I am really, really excited! :D

I’ll post the official flyer here and over at JS.com, along with the class description and all the details. I hope you’ll help me spread the word about this cool class. There is NO LIMIT to the registrations for this one, so we can all pile in and have a GREAT TIME as we round out the year of classes at JS.com!

Alrighty, off to pack and burn some CDs and deliberate on shoes.

Oh yeah! Shoes!

I am now, for the record, a 5-time Fluevog owner - if you’re coming to Connecticut youll be the first to see my BRAND NEW shoes I just got in the mail today! (See, I have this thing about shoes…) Ah, swoon.

I will post a pic of my own as soon as I can - Fluevog is going to have a hard time topping the complete and utter perfection that is the Zaza (which, if you read on their web site, was actually part of their Open Source Shoe project - so awesome). Seriously, though. They are comfy enough to stand in all day (just like all the ones in this series), and cool enough to get compliments on them every time I wear them. Oh, and the GREEN! And three buttons! Holy cow, man. Per.Fec.Tion. I truly think I don’t need to buy another pair of shoes as long as I live.

But who am I kidding, right? Seriously.

I second the hands - maybe at a keyboard?

I say hands also. And maybe a keyboard?

First of all, those shoes are FABULOUS!!!!! Never ever have I seen a pair of shoes like those.

Okay, I think that those are your hands, and that you are putting up some fabulous wall decor that you created on your own computer.

I think I see two elbows working side by side...two people working together behind the computer maybe????
October 7, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterwillemijn
Definitely hands-- holding a book?

LOVE the shoes!

I have no clue about the picture or class but I love those shoes!!!!! I had no idea you had a shoe thing too. Ask my kids, everybody thinks I am nuts with shoes!

OMG I must have those shoes!!!!!!!!!!!! Those are fabulous! Can't wait to see what your new class is!
October 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterDena
I am definitely not any good at lateral thinking but what I see is 2 elbows and they are from 2 different people (the skin looks different) so I am guessing that like T+W you are teaming up with someone to teach.
And I am pretty sure there are fingerprints in the background.

I think they are forearms with the hands out of view holding a camera which is pointed back at yourself...with the brown squiggles in the bottom right being your curls! (Ha ha...is that detailed enough for you?!) Maybe a class where we do some self-portraiture and writing/reflecting on each of our own personal stories, journeys, and perspectives? To create an album about ourselves! Yeah. That would be cool!

New class sounds great, can't wait.

I'm not a shoe person but those are awesome!

You can afford nearly $250 for one pair of shoes? you certainly don't need MY business then.

"I truly think I don’t need to buy another pair of shoes as long as I live." Nooooo! Take it back! Take it back! Thou shalt not speak of such horrible possibilities! (says your shoe-shoppin' partner)! ROFL.

Seriously-- you and Candice have a real hoppin' time in NY (wish I could be with you two!) and I've sent a kajillion hugs for you guys with Joan and Shell!

Safe travels! *squeezes*

Hmm, I think it is a little kids knees / legs. And as usual I see something different than everybody else!
October 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterSally Lynn MacDonald
I've looked at this, stared at this and I can see 2 wrists, or 2 knees facing each other, or 2 elbows facing opposite directions. Geez. Well my only guess is that you're working with someone (partners in crime! LOL) and that maybe we're going to make some kind of frame able art!!!
Have a blast in Conn. and hugs to you, Joan & Shell! Wish I could have made this trip too! Safe travels and can't wait for Friday's announcement!

Those shoe are SOOOOO cute!! Oh my! Have fun wearing those this weekend. And, as far as this weekend goes....since it's all matchy, matchy with your website/blog I think it's us (you) jumping for joy and we're celebrating us as we head into the holiday season. So maybe some fun thought provoking projects revolving around us. I really have NO idea!!!

Two people giving each other a high five?
October 7, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterLaura
I'm clueless as to what is in the picture, but I'm guessing a class with a hybrid project. I can't wait to see the whole picture!

Christmas cards!

Wow...the hands have been guessed a lot. I was going to say wrists or a little child's feet. I am going to say if it is wrists, I like the previous guesses of holding up some project of perfection, or praying. I am going to say if it is a little child's feet...I really have no idea where it is going unless it has to do with writing about our childhood or what makes us feel younger than we are.
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterApril Dawn
Oh...I saw someone's guess about giving high five...can I make a third guess of two hands clasped in friendship??!! That would be COOL!!
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterApril Dawn
The hands are holding a camera!!

Those shoes and the rest of the range are "to die for". Just as well they don't sell them anywhere near me - I'd be broke!
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered Commenterwebfrau
I think it must be hands clapping! Can't wait to see what they are doing, those hands!
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterLorraine M.
Since it was after the Type+Writer class you decided to change direction, I think it may be a class where we take pictures of family and journal about their lives to this point in time.

p.s. the shoes look great!
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterMarcy
They look like elbows to me. And some brushes used in the background...maybe dots, a banner and paisley. I'm ready!!
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered Commentermer
Add to my post above...I think there is a date stamp (brush) in there too.
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered Commentermer again
Mmmm that is a tough one

Its either Christmas Cards or some sort of art we can use to give as gifts?
Would suit this time of year!

Enjoy your trip away and i look forward to reading Friday! (which is my 5th wedding anniversary so two things to look forward to!)
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKristin from Switzerland!
Hmmm ... that is a tough one. Knees or elbows? I am going with elbows. Of two different people. Standing back to back (which would explain why they are bending in opposite directions). Now to explain why you can't see the rest of their bodies. Perhaps because they are both holding a large sign or something that is advertising this new class. Can't wait to see if I am even in the ballpark on this one. LOVE the shoes by the way. Not sure if my bland style could get away with them.
October 8, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterKrista
This has got me intrigued now! Maybe two hands hi-fiving? A pair of hands holding something like a cake with a candle on it? It might be something hyrid and ready made like Christmas cards to print off after taking a family portrait to use on them. If it's universal to anyone, whether they've scrapped or not, maybe you're having like an Open Day to spread the word about how easy digi/hybrid scrapping really is.

Sorry for all the guesses, but hey, just tossing ideas around as your little sneaky peaky ain't givin' too much away!

Can't wait to hear the news now!!
