Plex's Birthday, and Announcements!

You know, the week actually wasn’t that bad. After Wednesday night, that is. ;)

On Thursday’s episode of Yo Gabba Gabba, it was Muno’s birthday. So of course for Rowen, this translated into it being Plex’s birthday the very next day.

We had a party for him, complete with a hat and mini-cupcakes.

We leaned him up against the juice jug with his own cake, and Rowen showed him how to unwrap and eat it. :) We even sang to him. It was the best. :D

The rest of the weekend was pretty laid-back, which is awesome for a weekend, right? :)

Announcements Next Monday, November 24!

We are making several HUGE announcements relating to JessicaSprague.com next Monday! I am so excited! If you’re in the Stories in Hand class, you’ll be getting a sneak peek at the announcements, but I’ll be posting them here and on the home page at JessicaSprague.com as well. Here are some glimpses of things to come:

  • Announcement of first-quarter 2009 class schedule!
  • Announcement of several BRAND NEW classes!
  • A very special VIDEO announcement that you don’t want to miss!
  • New class registration functionality, just in time for gift-giving! That’s how much we love ya.

I’ll be providing more hints and clues (and some giveaways!) as we get closer to the November 24 announcements!

Stay tuned. :D

Speaking of giveaways, did you ever do the Stories in Hand preview giveaways? Don't remember you announcing those ever. Loving the SIH class!

Jessica~~

I am in love with your site, your classes, and your style. I've always been a HUGE Heidi Swapp fan, with no one near a close second. Well, let's just say the two of you are neck in neck these days... I got Photoshop as a present for my birthday, and have never really used it. I found the link for your SIH class from Heidi's blog, and liked it so much that I decided to jump into the Beg. Digi class. I can't believe how EASY Photoshop is. Why did it seem so hard? And that's only after the 1st session of class. Can't wait to see what I'll be able to do after the 2nd! Thanks for the link to Designer Digitals as well. I bought a few "necessities" so I'll be ready to go.

I'm anxious to see what you'll have in store for 2009. I hope (crossing fingers) you'll have some more self-paced classes, since I'll be stuck in the office preparing taxes for 3 months. Everyone else only stresses about April 15th... that's when I'll be back for more.

Again, your style is great. I enjoy your blog, and am looking forward to making TONS of digi layouts. Thanks again for sharing yourself with so many... I would never have tapped into this creativity had I not signed up for SIH.

Peace out... :)

Tell me you didn't bake those cupcakes? (I'm sitting here crying and thinking, was I the only one asleep when God was distributing kitchen talents?) ROFL! They look delish, and I hope you ate one for me! Tell Rowen to give Plex a belated happy birthday hug from me! :D

I thought we were the only ones who did this kind of thing. I love your stories about Rowen and Elliott. They're so great at this age aren't they? My daughter decided to "open" a costume shop this weekend and proceeded to make necklaces and cookie costumes and butterfly costumes out of construction paper. She does amazing things with tape and pipe cleaners that I couldn't even hope to think of! I hope they never lose this fantastic creativity and imagination!

I wasn't the only thinkin' there's a party in my tummy! LOL! We lovingly call Yo Gabba Gabba baby crack in our house. Our one year old is absolutely mesmerized by this show. In fact as I type, the baby is watching a DVr'd epsiode.
