One more happy thing.

One more happy thing this morning:

Ele_chalkboard.jpg

Elliott expressing his inner Van Gogh, drawing planets on the chalkboard in PJ’s and boots (he put these on himself, so proud!).

One additional note: this kid might be left-handed. :D

Also: Thank you for your spaghetti-sweeping suggestions from last night’s post. Ha.

My sitter is sick today, so Rowen and I are sitting here at almost 11 in our pj’s. I’m answering emails and she’s drawing pictures with my watercolor pencils (“Pencils! And I can paint with them too! Whoaaaaa!”).

Next post: a question for you

Cool RAK giveaway!

I wish that I knew more about organizing stuff in ACDSee (and that I'd do it more!). I also wish that I knew more about layer masks and advanced tools. I know how to do lots of things, but I don't always think that I'm doing them in the most efficient manner...

Wow what a great giveaway. I am a brand new digiscrapper (haven't made one page yet). I am really confused with layers and how they work and why you need to make them. Maybe when I understand Photoshop a little better, I'll tackle making a scrapbook page. Thanks for sharing all your knowledge of Photoshop.

I so wish that I knew how to correct my pictures better using Photoshop 7. There are many times where my photos come out too dark or grainy because of the distance that I am from the subject, therefore the pics are particularly dark. Would love to learn how to correct these so that I don't miss out on those memories. I also wish I knew how to print out on ribbon, tags, etc. using my printer.

Lefty? Are you a lefty?
I've got a 16 month old that I see favoring his left hand. I have my fingers crossed. Go South-paws!

PS. Elliott, so cute.

I wish I knew how to mix things better in photoshop/scrapping - ie combining papers and textures to make one new paper, wish could do more blending and layer masks! I am doing some correcting in Photoshop but would love to know more tricks to make photos standout more! Love to learn how to create my own stuff too! Nothing glamorous, just some frames, overlays, glitter stuff!

Gotta love the boots! My youngest son (who turns 6 tomorrow!) tends to gravitate towards boots when he is in a hurry.

Love the boots, too cute.

My daughter who is 9 now is a lefty. She's fine with her writing and she loves to draw as well, which brings me to the point of an Art Show which is on the square in our town. She won Second place.( she was in second grade) I was so proud of her.Being a lefty is often hard for some people; like my son. Talk about can't read the hand writing shew!!! lol.

Just wanted to share as I know some folks fear there child being left handed and make them use their right. They should be able to use which ever hand is most comfertable to them.
Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes here. I'm sorry if I did.

Oh man, what I wouldn't give to get my hands on one of your books! I've been stalking my Archiver's just WAITING for it to show up! I've taken your Up & Running and Now We're Rocking classes so would consider myself an intermediate digi scrapper. What would I like to learn? How to create these fabulous elements I see for myself!!! I am afraid PSE 5.0 might not be the right program to do this with, however. But I wanna know how to create papers and elements that look realistic. I've just discovered Kay Miller Designs (add a dot com to the name) and THAT's what I want to know how to do! It is so my style that I'm going to go broke in that store. Iffn I could do some of that myself I'd be in heaven.

Oh and one can never have too much discussion on organizing our stuff! Categories, tagging, etc.

Need more specifics? Let me know. I gotta go pick up my little one from preschool!

Lefties make the world explode in artistry! (I'm a lefty, and I try to live by that as my motto, heh heh)

Your Ele and Rowen are just adorable.

I would love to learn great extracting so I can make "a family complete" where I am missing from family photos because I was behind the camera or else someone else is missing.

I would also love to learn how to make good digital elements. This seems to be elusive to me for some reason. I use CS3 and would consider myself an intermediate. I only do digi scrapping.

This photo of Elliot makes me melt!!! Completely adorable and continuing to exert his independence and ability to self-entertain ... *love* it!!

Hi Jessica,
LOVE the photo of your little guy...too cute :D
I guess I'm an intermediate digi scrapper. I really love your tutorials and have learned a lot - Thank you! Some things I would like to learn (PSE6) are:

1) Working with color options for my photos; like being able to get some different shades, and not just B&W or Sepia.
2) I would also like to create elements that have a realistic look, like flourishes and frames.
I can't think of anything I would like to do on my computer in general, just more with PSE.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to give you these suggestions, and for a chance to win your book. I have Volume 1, and LOVE it!!!
