And the Winners Are..
Monday, September 29, 2008 at 09:50AM Thank you, lurkers (and non-lurkers!) for posting on the “What’s Your Passion” thread!
Out of the 161 responses received before 9 p.m. Friday, I have two winners, generated from Random.org. :D

I have been thinking about the reply for a while now. I keep coming back to one thing. Making beautiful things; be it paper creations, cards, photography, jewlery, digi scrap, books etc. The media and technique is secondary I guess. The passion is the outcome.
To be honest I felt quite a bit … disappointed when I read your plans to postpone DIDer. I think the main reason for this is because through your classes I have found the tools to evolve my creativity and myself and indulge in my passion. I have not used your classes as the means to get freebies or to just learn a bunch of Photoshop stuff. I took the skills you presented and made them mine. Your tools helped me find a new side of myself and my creativity. See, making beautiful things was (and to a large degree still is) my main motivation for picking up digi scrap. Because of this I hope that whatever you have planned is just as good and inspiring.
Thanks for being so openminded and being willing to listen to everyone’s opinions and suggestions and for being a big enough person to be open to change. It takes a strong person to do that.

One of my passions is of course my family-I LOVE keeping my family connected even though we’re in many different states. I especially love sharing pictures with them and sharing their pictures with my 5 y/o and sharing the stories that go with them. Especially pictures and stories of my brother who we lost to suicide in 1997. My daughter has some sort of special connection with him (she just knows that Uncle Nathan got very sick and died) as she talks about him constantly and loves looking at pictures of him and hearing stories about him. Hence for me this passion of family lends itself to a love of scrapbooking, especially digital scrapbooking so I can share it all. I’ve always had a passion for photography that also goes hand in hand with this but especially so since I’m in the Oh Shoot! class and learning tons with Candice which has resparked this passion.
So thank you Jessica-for all the you do to help me with my passions.

Send me your addresses, ladies, and I’ll get the books out to you! You’ll love these books from PerAnnum.

Thank you to everyone for your comments. I think that Lindsan and Jena are representative of what so many said, and it was awesome to read!
Don’t forget that I’ll be announcing a brand new class on October 10. Stay tuned. It’s gonna rock. :D

And Jessica - I'm also one who cannot see the new header/pics -- I do have Firefox, but have not really used it. I'll try it to see if it helps. Well...I'll "try to try it," anyway...
