Short.

I can’t even remember when I have gone so long without blogging. I’ve missed it. I’ve also had a sick family for a week, and managed to stay well until Sunday. Then I’ve barely been able to keep my eyes open since then.

Liv comes into town tomorrow.

And we’re beginning registration tonight for Type+Writer 1 and 2.

And I feel this relentless need for sleep that makes it hard to accomplish much.

Hope you feel better soon. I'm missing three days of school because of this "bug." I slept the morning away.

Sending "get well" wishes your way. I know it's tough to give in to the urge for sleep, but it's almost always your body's way of telling you what you need to recuperate.

Get well soon, Jessica. Get a lot of rest and drink a lot of liquids. We need you!

Jessica!
I actually really love the quick update. I get so excited for your blog posts because you're such an honest, real life writer. And a sick family for a week or two is real life! I hope you all feel better soon!

I do hope you feel better by tomorrow Jessica! I hope Jared is taking good care of you since I know you took good care of him over the weekend. It's hard to believe so many people are getting sick this early in the school year. Enjoy your visit with Liv! Get plenty of rest; that's the best thing!

Sorry to hear you are sick...no fun at all. I have been slowly working my way though the free picture/frame course from this summer. Lots to see on my blog page.

I hope you feel better soon! I've been attempting to ward off some sort of sickness/sore throat thing since Friday night. I keep waiting for it to turn into a cold... and I can hear it in the voice of the whole family that they are trying to fight it off too!! Not fun!

Someone did post at JS that your family was ill. You are likely on the upside of things now...just in time
for a wonderful visit with Liv. The stresses from the loss of a loved one, the angst of your first
child starting "real" school, and the unprecented workload of BE class + DSE prep + company
coming + video plans for new classes - It is no wonder your body told you to shut down. No
resistence to the germs floating around once schools are in session. I liken Kindergarten to a
giant rectangular petri dish. Continue to heal and sleep.

The whole world will wait. The important thing is that your family is by your side and you have many
supportive friends. Sending a get well hug.

Sure hope you feel better soon! I am in the final phase of the same sort of illness, and have had to nap every day. It does wreak havoc with the amount I need/want to accomplish. Rest is probably the best thing for you now so try not to short yourself. Take care!

Jessica-I just wanted to THANK YOU for the experience at DSE. You were an amazing teacher. I was ready to declare myself allergic to photoshop and was definitely planning a full day at the mall on Saturday until you came in to our class and made me realize I might actually understand this stuff someday! I am absolutely addicted to your classes. I think if I had known you had these, I would have been on a roll several years ago. If you ever come back to Utah to teach, I hope to be able to be the first to sign up! Thanks! Shyloh (I was the mouthy novice girl on the front row)
