Corrections, Additions, Addenda..

Hey..

I've gotten some emails and comments. Let's see...

1. Save the file by right-clicking it and choosing Save Image As. It should save the .png file. From there you'll open it in Photoshop, and keep going with the instructions.

2. I made an error in the PSCS2 instructions. The Create Layer Mask key combination is Ctrl-Alt-G. I changed it in the orginal as well.

3. I made an error in the resize instructions. The resize command is under the Edit menu, rather than under the Image menu. Thanks for catching that! I changed it in the original as well.

If you have questions, or can't get something to work, feel free to email me. Link is in the sidebar.

Enjoy! :)

Ah-ha! Just over at DD and saw a layout by Sharon with a fabulous edge on her photo and noticed that it said "mask by Jessica Sprague." Hustled my ample behind over here as fast as I could HOPING that it was this week's Photoshop Friday freebie.....yoohoo....it IS! Thanks Jess!

Hey Jessica...I had just been noting the fact that the great Tara Whitney has been posting her pics with the grunge effect and was going to scout about and figure out how to do it. Lucky for me, you gave me everything I needed. LOVIN' Photoshop Friday. Keep it up.

A quickie about how to save the files. If your file isn't showing up when you open PS, you need a plug-in to allow PS to view .png files (had that problem this morning that a couple of 2peas gals helped with). Here's the link:
